I have nothing but a good to say about Southwest Home Inspections, Floyd is very professional and courteous. He is willing to go over and above his duties to make sure that the job is done right. He made a special trip to my Realtor to deliver the inspection report when the server went down and I wasn’t able to print it off of the internet. After calling him, he arrived at the Realtor’s office within minutes with two hard copies and a CD copy in his hand. The Reports are very detailed and professionally done.        My husband and I bought our first home this summer.  We chose a house that was still under construction and thought because it was brand new we wouldn't need a home inspection.  On the advice of our family and realtor we contacted Southwest Home Inspections.  Floyd Smith was at our new home the next day.   The inspection was so thorough that he was able to leave a list of items the builder had overlooked and I would have never of noticed.  All of the items were addressed prior to my closing.  He found some structural problems and talked directly with the building contractor and explained all the issues on my behalf.  Because he was unable to complete his inspection due to the home being unfinished he returned the next week at no cost to me and completed his inspection.  Several items had been corrected and he re-inspected these areas as well.  Mr. Smith was very conscientious about his work; he delivered my copy of the inspection the next day and emailed a copy to my husband who had been deployed overseas.  I will not hesitate to contact him in 4 or 5 months to do a follow up inspection prior to the expiration of my builder’s warranty.  I will highly recommend this company to all of my friends and neighbors.
